    Web or sheet material is carried on air to advance the material in a fixed stable floating position through one or more decks of a treating plant, preferably a drier. Spaced fixing chambers carried out with an air flow substantially parallel to the plane of material are mounted on either side of material and arranged to co-operate with blow boxes carried out for an air flow substantially perpendicular to said material plane, said blow boxes located partly on opposite sides of the material facing the fixing chambers, partly between said chambers.

    Air jets emerging from the nozzle 3 maintain in suspension the product 2, which are transported in a given direction either by tilting the entire device in the corresponding direction or by other means. Inclined air jets emerging from the nozzles 6 of the chambers 5 stabilize the position of the products 2 and prevent their vibration.
    By bringing the chambers 5 to the surface of the products 2 and closing the channels 4 in the areas of the chambers 5, a reduction in the air flow to stabilize the position of the products 2 is achieved.
    The air jets leaving the nozzles 8 provide a slight rise in the side edges of the product 2 and prevent their oscillations, which can be caused during transport.

    Invention Formula
    one,. A device for maintaining the sheet products in suspension during their transportation, comprising supporting air chambers arranged one behind the other above and below the product being transported, the chamber nozzles being perpendicular to the surface of the product, and the spaces between the chambers forming air exhaust ducts and Fixing chambers provided with inclined nozzles, for example, in the form of a eyelid perforation, characterized in that, in order to reduce air consumption, the fixing chambers are installed on one side of products at a smaller distance from it than the supporting chambers, and the air exhaust ducts located opposite the fixing chambers are blocked by plugs.

    2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that, in order to lift the side edges of the product and prevent their oscillations, some of the supporting chambers located under the product are provided with nozzles located outside the product.
